Very Well Casino: Cookie Policy & Consent Controls

Very Well Casino Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, what they do and how to change your preferences at any time.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the websites you visit. They are used widely across the internet to remember preferences, keep you logged in, measure traffic and personalise content. This page explains exactly which cookies Very Well Casino uses, why each one is set, how long it lasts and how to change your preferences. The cookie banner you saw on your first visit captures your initial choices, and the settings link in the footer lets you revisit them at any time.

We group cookies into three categories. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages get used and where the experience can be improved. Marketing cookies enable relevant offers to be shown across the site and on third party platforms. The analytics and marketing categories require your consent and stay off until you grant it.

Change your preferences at any time

Open the Cookie Settings link in the footer to update your choices. Changes apply immediately. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out while consent was in place.

What does strictly necessary actually mean?

Strictly necessary cookies are the ones the site genuinely cannot run without. They keep you logged in across pages, prevent the kind of forged requests that allow attackers to act on your behalf, and remember your cookie choices so you are not asked again every visit. These cookies do not track you across other sites, they do not feed into marketing, and they expire either at the end of your session or within a defined short window. UK GDPR allows strictly necessary cookies to be set without consent, on the basis that without them the service you have explicitly asked for would not function.

What do the analytics cookies tell you?

Analytics cookies feed into Google Analytics 4, configured to anonymise IP addresses and not to share data with other Google products. They tell us which pages get the most traffic, where visitors come from in aggregate, which devices are most common and where the conversion funnel leaks. They do not identify you personally, do not track you across other sites and do not feed into marketing. If you decline analytics, the cookies are not set and your visit is not counted in any of those reports. The site continues to work exactly the same.

What about marketing cookies?

Marketing cookies serve two purposes. First, they let us attribute sign ups back to the campaign that introduced you to the site, which is how affiliate partnerships are measured. Second, they allow major ad platforms such as Meta and Google Ads to show relevant offers either on this site or as part of broader campaigns elsewhere. These cookies are only set if you opt in. If you decline, you will still see ads in your wider browsing, but they will not be personalised based on your behaviour here. We never use marketing cookies to build profiles for any purpose other than advertising attribution.

How do I change or withdraw consent?

The Cookie Settings link in the footer reopens the preferences panel from your first visit. Untick a category and the relevant cookies are deleted immediately and no further cookies in that category will be set unless you opt in again. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings, in which case the banner will appear again on your next visit so you can make fresh choices. Some browsers offer a global Do Not Track signal that we honour for analytics and marketing categories when detected, even if you have previously opted in.

The full cookie policy covers every category of cookie we set, the third party services that may set their own, and the controls available to you for managing consent at any time.

Can I browse Very Well Casino without accepting marketing cookies?

Yes. Marketing cookies are off by default in the UK and only activate if you opt in through the cookie banner. You can browse, play, deposit and withdraw without ever accepting them, and you can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. The same applies to analytics cookies, although those help us improve the site for everyone so we politely ask you to consider keeping them on. Strictly necessary cookies are required for basic functionality such as keeping you logged in and remembering your bet slip, and these cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
